The world seems to be a place like we have never seen before.

Huge events are being cancelled.

Travel is being restricted.

Schools are closing.

There is some horrible virus going around.

 

And the fears are stacking up –

What if you get sick?

What if a loved one might get sick?

What if you lose income?

What if you are stuck at home with the kiddos?

Is it safe to run to the store?

Should I prepare more?

What will be the societal & economic fall out?

 

All of these issues can cause us to feel slightly panicky, stressed, overwhelmed and just downright anxious.

Add to that the mixed messages from leaders we get about cause, prevalence, and how to protect ourselves.

Then there are the social media posts spreading rumors about deaths, causes, conspiracies and if your cat can COVID-19.

And every Tom, Dick and Jane are pontificating about the future as if it will resemble some post-apocalyptic Will Smith movie.

Hey there. I’m Dr. Jac. I’m a Psychologist and Confidence Coach. The more I thought about all the issues I was seeing on the news and in the media, the more I was pulled to create this workshop as a way of giving back in these trying times. I wanted to introduce myself quick so you know that I am a trusted source to help you. 

I’ve helped hundreds of clients to manage their stress, anxiety and other life issues. I also teach college psychology courses. I hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.

On a personal note, I am a wife, mother and dog lover. And if I have my choice between stocking up on toilet paper or wine I will chose the wine.

I wish we didn’t have to go through this, but I know that together we can make it through.
